About the series
What it is
SSMP are miniature push-on coaxial connectors with an operating frequency up to 50 GHz. Smaller than SMP, easy to mate, designed for dense module packaging in communications and onboard equipment. Characteristic impedance 50 Ω, VSWR 1.3 (typical), insertion loss not more than 0.06·√f dB, insulation resistance not less than 5000 MΩ, dielectric withstanding voltage 325 V, −55…+165 °C; body — beryllium copper, gold-plated brass or stainless steel, insulator PTFE or glass.
Versions

Questions and answers
How does SSMP differ from SMP?
Smaller size and wider bandwidth: SSMP operates up to 50 GHz versus 40 GHz for SMP; dielectric withstanding voltage is 325 V versus 500 V.
What adapters are available for SSMP?
To 1.85, 2.4 and 2.92 mm with VSWR < 1.2 up to 40 GHz.
Where is SSMP used?
In modules with densely packed coaxial lines — transceiver units, onboard and satellite equipment.
