Series 38999 I

Overview

Series 38999 I circular connectors: quick bayonet coupling, small size and weight, high contact density. According to the manufacturer, they are made to GJB599B, which corresponds to MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, and are interchangeable with products of that series.

Design

• Five keying positions to prevent mismating, EMI shielding.
• Square-flange receptacles (front and rear mount, including feed-through), jam-nut and box-mount receptacles.
• Removable crimp contacts protected against damage from misalignment; solder and PCB versions are available.
• 9 shell sizes, interfacial and rear sealing; standard backshells per GJB 1784.

Specifications

Shell — aluminum alloy, stainless steel or titanium; platings: olive drab cadmium, nickel, passivated stainless steel and others. Contacts — gold-plated copper alloy. 500 mating cycles; sinusoidal vibration 10–2000 Hz at 294 m/s²; shock 300g, 3 ms.
