About the series
Overview
Modules for optical interconnects between the backplane and VPX daughter cards. A full-size VITA 66.1 module holds two MT ferrules, a half-size VITA 66.4 module holds one; two half-size modules take the space of one full-size module. The backplane receptacle mates on guide pins with ±0.25 mm float, and a slot in the plug housing gives access for cleaning the MT end face.

Insertion loss max 0.8 dB (multimode) and 1 dB (single-mode); vibration 10–2000 Hz; shock 80g, 11 ms; −55 to +85 °C; 500 mating cycles; salt spray 96 h.
