S series (A1-CONNECT) — compact self-latching (push-pull) connectors with 2…6 solder contacts. Shell sizes 00S / 0S / 1S, PPS insulator, shield closed around the full circumference of the mating interface (360°), IP50, mating life over 5000 cycles, operating range −45…+125 °C. The relative orientation of plug and receptacle is set by the profile of the stepped (half-moon) insert rather than by a key as in the B series. The catalog summary tables add to this a chrome-plated brass housing, a plug diameter of 6.4…14.8 mm and the "indoor" environment classification; the series' own documentation does not contain these details.
